Speaker Biography: 

Nicole graduated with a Master of Science in Nutrition and a Certificate in Gerontology from Case Western Reserve University in 1996.  She has been a member in good standing of the College of Dietitians of Ontario for 19 years.  Nicole started her career at Baycrest and worked there for 12 years where she developed a passion for working with older adults and their families.  During her time at Baycrest she worked with clients with a wide range of illnesses specializing in neurological diseases and helping clients with the nutrition challenges that go with them.

Nicole worked at the Jeff and Diane Ross Movement Disorders Clinic for 8 years and the and the ALS/ Motor Neuron Disease clinic at Sunnybrook for 12 years. During this time she gained an expertise and passion for working with people affected by these disease.

Nicole is an active teacher and presenter on nutritional issues in both the corporate and public sector.

Nicole has an active private practice in the North York area of Toronto. Over the years she has developed an expertise in working with clients with Parkinson’s Disease and ALS and other neurological illness’s

Nicole loves to travel and exercise.  She has the biggest smile on her face when she is having fun with her husband and 2 sons.
