A year of Uncertainty

Tainted by Fear

Our Daydreams not accessible

Our Future that uncertain.

A Foggy Brain made more so,

Unhinged by Worry

Disquieted by news

Of Sadness, of Loss of Life

Of Loss of Freedom.

As we peer into the days to come

A small bit of Hope appears,

A primal urge to Plan

A desire to pull Close

The potential of Gathering

With our Loved Ones.

A Vaccine will release us

From these Unsteady days

Give us back a Life

And set our Emotions

To a more manageable Balance.
