Thank you for signing up for our Heroes Run, Walk or Roll!

Now it’s time to get your Fundraising Superpowers On!

We encourage all participants to sign up and share their individual Race Roster page on social media, including on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. All participants are welcome to promote the event – and their unique story and relation to BIST.

For those more comfortable with a more neutral post, we have prepared the following scripts below.

if you’re looking to share a bit more about yourself and the reason you’re running, walking or rolling this year, include the following in your email or post:

  • WHO are you?
  • WHAT is the event?
  • WHY are you participating?
  • WHEN is it happening?
  • HOW can others support you?

Good, old fashioned email works GREAT too!

Send the RaceRoster link and a personal message to your contacts about WHY you’re taking part in our Heroes Run, Walk or Roll!

#1) Make your Fundraising Page on Raceroster AMAZING!

Here is an example of what you can write – feel free to include your own personal message!

Welcome to the Brain Injury Society of Toronto Fundraising Page!

The Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people living with the effects of brain injury.

BIST supports anyone who identifies as having a Brain Injury – there is no waitlist to access programs and BIST prioritizes the most marginalized in our community including those who are struggling with finances, the justice system, homelessness and intimate partner violence.

Last year alone, BIST supports were used 3,400 times. BIST also works with the broader community, including the Toronto Police to increase understanding of this invisible disability.

This year marks the 11 year anniversary of the BIST Run, Walk or Roll – and we are so very excited to share this milestone with our community, members and sponsors!
