Kathryn grew up in the Parry Sound area on the wonderful Georgian Bay.
Fishing, Boating, hunting, and enjoying the various surrounding areas while also working for the Canadian Coast Guard – Lighthouse Department, for a time. God changed things with her marrying a farmer/welder an hour north of Toronto. Changed the landscape and activities but not the hunger for outdoors. In due time, a Tea House went up for serving customers by her garden and through that capturing the wild life that came to enjoy it.
Trees became the landscape for former pasturing land. Photography through children, life happenings and the life around us. In 2015, shingles on the brain and a concussion four months later, followed by a subsequent heart attack changed life as she knew it – photography became a healing aspect to bring outside in!
