As a survivor, Bella clung to recovering and the goal of getting her old life back. This challenged and drained her mental health daily. By changing her mindset to living with her illness versus constantly fighting against it her life changed for the better.
Living with a multitude of symptoms as a survivor can be completely overwhelming. Survivors often are ingrained to focus on recovering with the desire to get back to their old lives as fast as possible. The goal is to enjoy and have a fulfilling life with our symptoms while continuing to work on recovery.

Bella is a brain injury advocate. After sustaining over 10 concussions, she realized that she could help others.
