Concussion Movie
  • This event has passed.

Come with BIST to see the movie about brain injury that everyone is talking about!

Have you been following the buzz about Will Smith’s Concussion movie? The film is based on the true story of forensic pathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu (Will Smith) who finds CTE when conducting an autopsy on a former NFL player, and then goes on a awareness crusade about the disease.

At this outing, we’ll watch the movie together, and then have a group discussion about what we thought of the film.

Participants must bring assistance if in need of assistance. (BIST will pay for the ticket, but attendees must pay for their own drinks and snacks if they want them.)
