Speaker: Man Qin (MQ) Huangfu, Registered Physiotherapist; Neurocore Physiotherapy & Rehab Centre Inc.
MQ is a registered physiotherapist from Neurocore who has been working with clients with more complex conditions such as traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, stroke, multiple sclerosis, amputations, chronic pain, as well as other complex orthopedic and neurological conditions.
MQ has been using her training from a variety of courses such as Bobath, Z-Health, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Neurokinetic Therapy in her assessment and treatment of clients with traumatic brain injuries. She uses a comprehensive approach to find the root cause of a client’s symptoms by evaluating the health of a client’s lymphatic system, vestibular system, visual system, proprioception system, as well as how each system integrates with each other.
MQ has been using lymphatic drainage as part of her treatment for client’s TBI for the past 5 years and has found great success with decreasing clients’ common TBI symptoms such as headaches, visual strain, overall inflammation and other neurological complaints. MQ is passionate about educating her clients about the role of the lymphatic system and the importance of self-lymphatic care.
