August’s TOPIC –  Research Studies and Clinical Trials

Interested in discovering new treatment options? Here’s how you can be part of research.

Have you ever been curious about how researchers develop new drugs? You might be able to contribute to research by participating on studies.

Even if you’re not interested in volunteering for research, you can learn how to understand your treatment options before making important decisions with your healthcare providers.

  • We’ll talk about:
  • How clinical trials work (i.e.studies of new medications or medical devices in humans)
  • What it might look like to participate in clinical trials
  • How to find and interpret information about treatment options that are in development
