David MacDonald
David is a partner at Thomson Rogers and a trial lawyer who conducted Toronto’s first personal injury paperless iPad trial. David has been going to trial and settling catastrophic plaintiff personal injury cases and helping car, pedestrian, ATV, motorcycle and boating accident victims who have suffered catastrophic injuries for more than twenty-five years. David’s goal is to help his clients develop meaningful lives after tragedy strikes by helping them in the recovery process with excellent, inspiring rehabilitation professionals and to protect them for all their future financial needs.

Stacey Stevens
Stacey is a partner at Thomson Rogers. Her practice is entirely devoted to helping people with serious personal injuries. She is dedicated to ensuring those injured in car accidents, motorcycle accidents, boating accidents, slip/trip and falls, those who have been denied accident benefits or disability insurance benefits, as well as victims of sexual assault, receive full compensation.

Matthew Sutton
Matthew is an associate at Thomson Rogers. His practice focuses on personal injury litigation.
Before joining Thomson Rogers Matt was a partner of a well-respected insurance defence firm and practiced exclusively in the area of insurance defence litigation for over a decade. His practice included all areas of insurance litigation, including first and third party claims and disputes between insurers such as loss transfer and priority disputes.
Matt’s change in focus stems from his desire to help people receive the compensation they need to aide in their recovery.
Matt’s experience includes, but is not limited to, motor vehicle accidents, slip & falls, fire loss and injury, product liability, and commercial host and occupier’s liability claims involving all levels of injury including catastrophic claims.
Dr. Joanna Hamilton
Dr Hamilton completed her undergraduate degree at Trent University in Peterborough before completing her Ph.D. at the University of Windsor. She began her training in 1985, completing an internship at Chedoke-McMaster Hospitals in the late 1980’s. Following completion of her degree, Dr. Hamilton worked at Bloorview MacMillan Centre (now Holland Bloorview), an experience she thoroughly enjoyed. She currently has a busy private practice in Peterborough, where she serves individuals across the age span in her local community and from all parts of Ontario. She works with individuals, families, and rehabilitation teams in a collaborative manner to improve the lives of those living with the effects of Brain Injury.
Dr. Hamilton travels to Northern Ontario on a regular basis to provide assessments for individuals who cannot travel for evaluations or who would otherwise not receive these services.
Dr. Hamilton is a member of the Central East Brain Injury Network, and sits on other professional boards where she advocates for the education of professionals around issues related to brain injury and disability, particularly in the pediatric population. She has presented at local, provincial and international conferences in the area of brain injury.
Leigh Craney
Leigh holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Brock University, and has been working as a community case manager since 2003. While working it the field, Leigh has successfully completed extensive brain injury and spinal cord injury educational training through the Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA) & Brock University, McMaster University, and the University of Calgary.
Leigh is an accredited Registered Rehabilitation Professional (R.R.P.) through the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada, a VRA member in good standing, and a member of the Ontario Rehab Alliance. Leigh was the recipient of the Ontario Brain Injury Association Award of Excellence for Case Manager of the Year in 2018, and is a Silver Sponsor of the BIAPH Health Advocates Education Conference. Keith Lindsay
Keith has over 28 years of experience within the mental health and rehabilitation fields, working in various positions of frontline, management and training.
Keith has been involved in numerous educational projects involving professionals, families and individuals with special needs surrounding support and education. Keith currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Ontario Brain Injury Association. He is the former president of the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Counsellors (OACYC). Keith has previously been involved in supporting The Brain Injury Associations of Simcoe Muskoka, Sudbury and Sault Ste Marie. He continues to educate Child and Youth Workers at Community Colleges.
