Session #3: Tips from an Occupational Therapist on Fatigue Management

Fatigue can be one of the most common, and frustrating, symptoms after brain injury. Occupational Therapist, Aaron Palmer, will share practical strategies and tips for managing fatigue in your daily life. From energy conservation techniques to activity pacing and lifestyle adjustments, learning strategies to help manage fatigue can increase participation in more meaningful and productive activities and improve your quality of life.

Speaker: Aaron Palmer, Occupational Therapist and Clinical Director, Palmer Wellness & Rehab

Aaron is a registered Occupational Therapist and Clinical Director of Palmer Wellness & Rehab, a community-based company that provides rehabilitation services to individuals of all ages who are dealing with the effects of complex and serious injuries (e.g., orthopaedic, neurological, spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries), have complex needs (physical, sensory, cognitive and/or emotional) as a result of injury/illness, and children who experience development, learning and behavioural challenges.

He has developed a passion for working with individuals to live a life of purpose and meaning.

As the Vice-Chair of the BIST Board, Aaron brings his personal and professional experience to contribute and create positive change for people living with the effects of brain injuries.
