Left Image: Canoe by the Water (16″ x 20″)

Artist Description:

The first acrylic on canvas painting in a series of two that speaks out about how humans have polluted the planet. Such a serene scene with a canoe by the water at sunset with large tree branches over top and a mountain at a distance that is, unfortunately, tainted by litter in the water.

Middle Image: Reflections of the Mountains (16″x20″)

Artist Description:

The second acrylic on canvas painting in a series of two that speaks out about how humans have polluted the planet. Such a serene scene of snow capped mountains by a lake at sunset with a small island of trees in the middle of the lake, and a rowing boat near the bottom that is, unfortunately, tainted by litter and dying fish in the water.

Artist Biography

Philiz Goh is a certified oncology registered nurse who cares for breast cancer patients. She recently attained her Masters of Health Systems Leaders and Administration from the University of Toronto with honours.
You can learn more about her at her LinkedIn profile or at her website. She is a patient advocate for integrated care and accessible spaces. Philiz is presently completing a self-help Acquired Brain Injury book while also volunteering in her community to assist the homeless. In her spare time, she enjoys painting with acrylics on canvas and uses art as therapy for her disability.
