February’s Topic: Vision Therapy after Brain Injury

Dr. Liang is a dedicated neuro-optometrist with over 700 hours of advanced training in binocular vision, vision therapy, and neuro-vision rehabilitation. She has completed Part 2 of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Fellowship, specializing in aiding recovery from acquired brain injuries such as whiplash, concussion, long COVID, and stroke.
Dr. Liang tailors care for patients with post-concussion vision syndrome, addressing challenges like eye focusing, eye movements, eye teaming, motion sensitivity, visual field loss, eye pains, headaches, dizziness, nausea, light sensitivity and poor visual memory. Her comprehensive toolbox includes brain-based lens therapy with prisms, tints, syntonic photobiomodulation, and neuro-vision rehabilitation, empowering patients to regain visual comfort and functionality.
She practices at Warden Optometry, Markham. She speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She’s also a concussion survivor.
